This Award

AltaGas Bursary

These bursaries will be distributed annually to Indigenous students from either the Prince Rupert area or Fort St. John area of British Columbia who are attending post-secondary institutions with demonstrated financial need with a preference to students studying in a field closely related to the oil and gas field, in particular gas plant operators. Preference will be given to students from: Blueberry River First Nation, Gitga' At First Nation, Gitxaala Nation, Haisla First Nation, Halfway River First Nation, Kisumkalum First Nation, Kitselas First Nation, Lax Kw'alaams Band, Metlakatla First Nation, West Moberly First Nation or students from other communities in British Columbia.
