There is one application for all of Indspire’s bursaries and scholarships (with a few exceptions). You only need to complete the application once to be considered for all applicable bursaries and scholarships. Please feel free to visit the FAQ page if you have any more questions.

AbbVie Corporation
This award is to be distributed to Indigenous students based out of Montreal or Markham who are attending postsecondary institutions across Canada [i.e. College, University, technical college or apprenticeship program], in healthcare or general science programs with demonstrated financial need for contribution to education costs.
Although demonstrated financial need will be the primary consideration, other factors may also be considered such as involvement in and contribution to the community as a whole; and demonstrated academic merit and performance.
Aboriginal Veterans Scholarship Trust
In 1996-1997, the federal government selected Indspire to receive the Aboriginal Veterans Scholarship Trust (AVST) in the amount of $1.15 million in honour of Indigenous veterans and to forever enshrine their contributions in the defence of Canada. Interest generated from the Trust is used to provide financial assistance to Indigenous youth.
Accenture
Accenture Canada FNMI Student Bursary
These awards will be distributed to FNMI students who are attending post-secondary institutions in Ontario (i.e. college, university, technical college, or apprenticeship program) with demonstrated financial need for contribution to education costs and with a preference to students studying in the following academic programs: business, engineering, computer science, health care, public policy or a program focused on software, digital design, or user experience.

Aecon Group Inc.
Aecon Group Indigenous Bursary
This award is to be distributed to Indigenous students who are attending post-secondary institutions across Canada [i.e. College, University, technical college or apprenticeship program], with demonstrated financial need for contribution to education costs. Preference will be given to students from or studying in Manitoba, Ontario, or Quebec.
AFOA PotashCorp
AFOA PotashCorp Aboriginal Youth Financial Management Scholarships
This scholarship is available to Aboriginal youth who are in Grades 11 and 12 to encourage them to enter into the financial management profession. Successful recipients attend AFOA Canada’s National Conference and participate in a program designed to introduce them to careers in finance and management. A committee selects recipients based on an AFOA Canada application and essay competition.
Minimum GPA of 65% required.
AGF Investments Inc.
AGF Scholarship for Indigenous Students
Each bursary is a one-time award. Although demonstrated financial need will be the primary consideration, other factors (such as involvement in and contribution to the community as a whole and demonstrated academic merit and performance) may also be taken into consideration.
Applicants must be under the age of 25, entering full time studies at an accredited Canadian university or college, and have a valid social insurance number.
