Gloria Baylis Bursary

This award will be distributed to Indigenous students who are attending post-secondary institutions across Canada (i.e. College, University, Technical College, or Apprenticeship Program). Although demonstrated financial need will be the primary consideration, other factors (such as involvement in and contribution to the community as a whole and academic merit and performance) may also be considered.

In legacy of Gloria Baylis, a civil rights activist, registered nurse, entrepreneur and founder of the Baylis Medical Company in Mississauga, Canada.

The Gloria Baylis Foundation helps to support charitable organizations working to improve access to education and healthcare for all. The Foundation supports initiatives at the local and international levels with the mission to help improve the lives of people around the world.
