Hudbay Minerals Inc. Bursary for Indigenous Students

This award will be distributed to post-secondary students with financial need. Preference will be given to students from Northern Manitoba who are studying in academic programs related to the mining industry. Other factors such as volunteerism and academic success may also be considered.

Hudbay is a Canadian mining company with operations, development properties and exploration activities across the Americas principally focused on the discovery, production and marketing of base and precious metals. Much of its nearly 90 year history has centered on the Flin Flon – Snow Lake area of northern Manitoba where it currently operates three mines and two processing facilities.
