The Indigenous Women Leadership Scholarship

This Scholarship is for an Indigenous (First Nation, Inuit or Métis) woman who will commence her post-secondary studies in September 2021. It is a renewable award of $10,000 per year for a student enrolled in a minimum three-year post-secondary program to a maximum of four years. While enrolled in post-secondary, the student must maintain a full-time course load to receive the renewed support each year.

In 2021, 100+ professional women who wanted to actively contribute to the advancement of reconciliation agreed to donate $100 annually to set up a scholarship for an Indigenous woman. This scholarship is unique as the student will be receiving a substantial renewable award and will be able to count on a mentoring network of 100+ supportive professional women who will be dedicated to ensuring the ongoing educational and professional success of the student.
