Intellectual Property Institute of Canada’s Foundation Award for Indigenous Students

This award is to be distributed to Indigenous students enrolled any Canadian post-secondary institution across Canada [i.e. College, University, technical college or apprenticeship program] pursuing studies in STEM, Industrial Design, Business and AI. Although demonstrated financial need will be the primary consideration, other factors may also be considered such as interest in the field of intellectual property, involvement in and contribution to the community as a whole; and demonstrated academic merit and performance.

The Intellectual Property Institute of Canada (IPIC) is the professional association of patent agents, trademark agents and lawyers practicing in all areas of intellectual property law. Our membership totals over 1700 individuals, consisting of practitioners in law firms and agencies of all sizes, sole practitioners, in-house corporate intellectual property professionals, government personnel, and academics.
