In memory of John Bernard Kennedy, July 2, 1968 to February 26, 1995, the John Bernard Kennedy Bursary for Indigenous Students was established by June Pick, his mother, and James Kennedy, his brother.

John Bernard Kennedy Bursary

The John Bernard Kennedy Bursary provides support to Indigenous students who are enrolled, or will be enrolled, in accredited post-secondary programs in Canada. Although demonstrated financial need will be the primary consideration, other factors may also be considered, including community service and academic achievement.
