MLCN Investment Management Corp. Bursary
This bursary will be distributed annually to Indigenous students attending any accredited post-secondary educational institution with preference to be given to career interests that are relevant to the work performed at MLCN Investment Management Corp. Those career interests include, but are not limited to: 1) Economics, Finance, Accounting (economics, finance, computer science, mathematics or statistics, accounting, audit, commerce, and business administration, and other fields of study pertinent to the Corporation and its operations); 2) Engineering & Law (engineering (including civil, mechanical, electrical, and environmental engineering, and other fields of study pertinent to the Corporation and its operations) and law (including corporate, commercial, securities, tax, real estate, and other fields of study pertinent to the Corporation and its operations); 3) Administration and Operations (financial services, administration and business management, project management, human resources, knowledge and information management, security, and other fields of study pertinent to the Corporation and its operations); 4) Communications & Marketing (communications, including digital and web-based communications, visual arts, journalism, broadcasting, marketing, and sales, and other fields of study pertinent to the Corporation and its operations); 5) Skilled Trades (electrical, plumbing, welding, millwright, drywalling, general construction, property management, and other fields of study pertinent to the Corporation and its operations); and 6) Information Technology and Cyber Security (software development, network engineering, solution architecture, project management, business analysis, cyber security, and other fields of study pertinent to the Corporation and its operations).
Students will also be selected based on demonstrated volunteer work and involvement in the Muskeg Lake Cree Nation community (or, if living outside the Muskeg Lake Cree Nation community, volunteer work in support of other Indigenous communities will be considered)
