About Mosaic Forest Management

In operation on Vancouver Island and the BC Coast for over 100 years, Mosaic provides thousands of direct and indirect jobs annually in Coastal BC communities. We take great care to manage our lands sustainably while preserving biodiversity to ensure the working forest remains healthy and productive for future generations. Our strong relationships with Indigenous partners and neighbouring communities have been formed over decades and have been critical to our ongoing success. In partnership with our neighbours and environmental groups, we have undertaken numerous conservation initiatives across Vancouver Island. Today’s customers want products from sustainably harvested timberlands and we are pleased to lead the industry in meeting this demand.

Mosaic is the first BC forest company certified to the Progressive Aboriginal Relations program under the Canadian Council for Aboriginal Business. The company is third-party certified under the Sustainable Forestry Initiative.
