At NextEra Energy Canada, LP, we believe in “doing well by doing good” which starts by being a good corporate citizen and supporting the communities we serve. Our financial support of Indspire’s Building Brighter Futures: Bursaries, Scholarships, and Awards is the beginning of a long-term partnership with Indspire. The most significant corporate donation of its kind, NextEra Energy Canada’s commitment will help further Indigenous education and support First Nation, Inuit and Métis youth across Canada as they pursue post-secondary education. At NextEra Energy Canada, we remain committed to doing our share to ensure students are prepared for the 21st century global marketplace.

About NextEra Energy Canada

NextEra Energy Canada, LP, began to actively develop wind projects in Canada in 2006. Today, our company derives 100 percent of its electricity from generating facilities using clean and renewable fuels, such as the wind and sun, and operates across Canada. We currently have two solar facilities, as well as 13 wind energy centres operating in Canada. We are also developing two energy storage facilities in Ontario, and are committed to continuing our focus on future development across Canada. Applying For Building Brighter Futures

Since 1996, Indspire has provided over $190 million in financial support through more than 59,000 bursaries, scholarships and awards to First Nations, Inuit and Métis students. There is one application for all of Indspire’s bursaries, scholarships, and awards*. You only need to complete the application once to be considered for all applicable bursaries, scholarships, and awards.
