About Seven Generations Energy

Seven Generations Energy is a Canadian energy producer dedicated to stakeholder service and responsible energy development that generates strong returns. The company’s name originated with the ‘Great Law of the Iroquois’ which states “the decisions one makes today must consider the impact they will have on the seventh generation in the future”. This commitment to sustainable development and stakeholder service forms the company’s guiding principle.

Located in the Montney formation in northwest Alberta, Seven Generation’s liquids-rich Kakwa River Project consists of more than 500,000 net acres of world-class resource. The company employs pad-based, long-reach horizontal development practices that maximize productivity while minimizing land disturbance. 7G produces between 180,000 and 200,000 barrels of oil equivalent per day of natural gas, condensate and natural gas liquids, making it one of the 10 largest energy companies in Canada. With a focus on operational excellence, innovation and efficiency, Seven Generations is one of North America’s lowest supply cost unconventional energy producers.
