SSR Mining Award for Indigenous Students

Seabee Gold Operation recognizes the importance of education and is committed to encouraging the development of a skilled and well-educated workforce within our local northern communities. We aim to hire as many people as possible from northern and Indigenous communities; this scholarship program is part of a long-term recruitment and relationship building strategy with our impact communities to help accomplish that goal.

Preference to students studying STEM (Science, Technology, Engineering and/or Mathematics) with demonstrated involvement in and contribution to the community as a whole

About SSR Mining

The Seabee Gold Operation is located approximately 125 km northeast of La Ronge in northern Saskatchewan. The company has been active since 1991, although it became part of SSR Mining Group in 2016. The Seabee Gold Operation comprised of the Santoy underground mine and a mill facility at the Seabee site and is unique in many ways. It is the only gold producer in the Province of Saskatchewan and is a fly-in, fly-out operation.
