Teck Indigenous Award

Teck Resources Limited is proud to support Indigenous youth to achieve their dreams and realize their full potential through education. This award was created to support Indigenous students attending a post-secondary institution or a technical training and development program with demonstrated financial need.

Preference will be given to business, engineering, specifically materials, process, mechanical, chemical and electrical engineering, earth sciences, and environmental studies. Trades programs that meet the bursary criteria which should be considered include: heavy duty mechanic, electrician, welder, instrumentation technician. Preference will be given to students from communities in Teck’s Indigenous communities of interest; however, if there are no eligible recipients in a given year from these communities, students living in British Columbia, Alberta, Ontario, Newfoundland, and the Yukon will be considered.
