The Jane Hood Award for Indigenous Women

The Jane Hood Award for Indigenous Women was established by Daniela Tiger in memory and celebration of Jane’s life and dedication to Indigenous people and providing access to education for First Nation, Inuit, and Métis students. These awards will support Indigenous female students pursuing Health Sciences and Environmental Conservation University programs across Canada.

These bursaries will be distributed to first year Indigenous female students who are enrolled at University institutions across Canada with demonstrated financial need.
